I like the 1904 NYC subway map. I found something on youtube a while back that I think would be a good accompaniment. Its a film shot from the interior of the NYC subway line from 14th St. to 42nd St. in 1905…just a year older than the map.
Of course someone dubbed in audio that is clearly inauthentic. But the video is certainly real enough.
